I have never been to NYC but your article was simply a very complete guide to the holidays there! Polley93 Lifeinasuitcase.
My holiday season starts when the clock strikes midnight November 1st. This article is helpful to keep it manageable. This is so great! Skating at the Rockerfeller has got to be one of my most treasured Christmas memories. As was visiting the infamous toy store, FAO Shwarz, which is unfortunately no longer. Cant wait to go! Im a Christmas nut and New York is definitely on the top of my holiday — have — to list! Great article. If possible try to fit in a visit to a broadway show.
We are have been dreaming about New York for a while now, see I never crossed the Atlantic yet. I think Christmas time might be a good option, take the little one along! Will come back to you with questions as we plan it! You should absolutely make the trip with your little one!!!! It is so worth it!! Please feel free to message us if you have any questions or want any help planning!
I used to work at Avenue of the Americas, and just loved those giant ornaments. All these suggestions brought back so many memories from when I lived there. Christmas in NY seem to be much more than here in Europe. In most of the couturiers it is a family celebration, where everyone sits at home. In Finland, where I live, there is almost no transport on that day. I visited NYC a couple of times before but never for Christmas. I bet the atmosphere is magical over there during this time of the year. I would definitely want to experience someday.
My son and his wife used to live in NYC and I miss visiting there now that they have moved. Christmas time in NYC is magical. You have some really great tips here. Sharing this for sure! Someday I am going to go and live there! My dream! Your post is so well written and evokes wanderlust! My sister just got back from a trip there and lost her mind at how cool it was. Ten years I ago when I was 10 my Mum, Grandma and I visited New York during the last week of October and it was probably the most amazing experience of my life.
Lovely post x. Beautiful pictures and great ideas. I have been tonNYC but never during Christmas. I just might have to plan another trip. Maybe next year I can go for Christmas! I would love love love to go to New York! I believe that visiting NYC for Christmas would be a magical experience with for kids and adults! Summer is beautiful- we also love NYC in the fall! This is so cute! As a person from an Islamic country, I always feel jealous about Christmas celebrations!
We live in an area with a huge Islamic population and many of our neighbors and friends enjoy Christmas, just without the religious part! Things like ice skating and hot cocoa are fun cozy winter things- though we have many Islamic friends who put up a tree and exchange gifts too! Something very special about NY in the winter! What a fun post!
Amazing post. Love this city. Your pics give me all the feels! I will keep working on him! Agree with you that NYC is a great destination to visit in this festive period of the year. I see how much you guys enjoyed and I want to experience the fun too.
